Dear ACE Families,
We are fast approaching our final week of the third quarter of the school year. This past week, we celebrated Read Across America Week, an initiative dedicated to fostering a lifelong love of reading. Students engaged in various activities, including themed dress up days and multiple opportunities to engage in a good book.
In addition to our literacy celebrations, our district also completed an accreditation process, which included site visits from an external review team at each campus. I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to the parents who joined us at Aspen Creek to meet with the review team. Your feedback is an essential component of our school’s growth, and we remain committed to utilizing your insights as we always look for ways to improve our educational environment.
During our Guardian Group meetings on Friday, students explored the character pillar of cooperation. Discussions focused on the importance of collaboration, mutual respect, and the ability to work effectively with others toward shared goals. We encourage you to reinforce these concepts at home as we strive to develop well-rounded citizens.
Looking ahead, the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) will meet this coming Tuesday, March 10 at 7:00 PM. Currently, the group is finalizing preparations for Staff Appreciation Week and our All-School Carnival. These events are vital to our school spirit, and we would love to have you join us should you wish to help with either of these initiatives.
