Dear ACE Families,
We’ve had a great week at school, and there is so much to look forward to.
You may have noticed some work being done on the south side of the building. A huge thank you to our PTO for the incredible work they are doing to bring our new outdoor classroom to life. Our students and staff are super excited.
Students are also looking forward to LED PuttPutt Golf on Tuesday, November 25, a special reward from PTO for raising over $20,000 during our ACE Race earlier this year. I encourage them to wear white shirts so they glow in the gym.
On December 4, our Kindness Club and ACE Choir will be ringing bells at Hy-Vee. They would love to see some familiar faces—feel free to stop by before or after our holiday event and show them your support.
As a quick reminder, I’d like to review expectations for parent drop-off. To help the line move efficiently, we need 5–6 cars unloading students at a time. If you would like a slower start to the morning with your child, we have you covered. Please park in the parking lot and walk them across the crosswalk. This two-option system helps keep things running smoothly for everyone. With that said, we all know the unexpected can happen as you pull up to the drop off line. Please bring patience with you should someone take a bit more time than expected.
As we approach Thanksgiving, I want to wish your family a wonderful and restful holiday. We are truly grateful for your children and the joy they bring to our school each day. Thank you for your continued support and partnership. Happy Thanksgiving!
Mrs. Kistler
