At Aspen Creek Elementary, we have an open check out policy. Students are welcome to check out at any time during the week. They are not restricted to checking out only at their class' scheduled weekly library time. The quantity of library books available to students at any given time is as follows:

Kindergarten: one picture book 

First grade: one picture book

Second grade: two paperback or hardcover books

Third Grade:  two paperback or hardcover books

Fourth grade: two paperback or hardcover books

Fifth grade: two paperback or hardcover books

All checkouts are for a duration of two weeks, although most students will check out at least once weekly. 

No fines will be issued for late returns. However, if a book is damaged or lost, a replacement fee will be assessed.
